There are a lot of types of how to ask the name, in Japan.
"General question type" is the most general.
"Friendly question type" is how to use for your younger.
"Polite question type" is used for senior.
But, if the other party is a foreigner, the Japanese will not get angry even if any is used.
Because the Japanese is very generous to the foreigner
