  • 1-a. I'm going now.
  • 1-b. Have a good day.

2. Greetings for when you came home.

  • 2-a. I'm home now.
  • 2-b. Hello! / Oh, you're back?

When we express things, we often don't use the subject.

Next, an English expression corresponding to these Japanese greetings doesn't exist.
These are peculiar greeting in Japanese expressions.

  • 1-a. いってきます。/ 行ってきます。[ itte kimasu ] : I'm going now.
  • 1-b. いってらっしゃい。/ 行ってらっしゃい。[ itte rasshai ] : Have a good day.
