A lot of kinds of the SYODO tool exist in Japan where I live.
There was a considerable kind when having searched the Internet in Japan.
Reason why a lot of kinds of SYODO tool exist in Japan. It is because SYODO is taught in the elementary school in Japan.
Besides, There is "JYUKU of SYODO (= school of SYODO)" a lot in Japan. The SYODO tool should be convenient to carry for children in Japan to learn SYODO with the elementary school and JYUKU.
Therefore, the type of the SYODO tool of Japan that can be carried is abundant.

The rightmost is "Japanese paper ( Hanshi=半紙 )".There is various kinds of Hanshi.

Well, the thing at the left of Hanshi is "Calligraphy pad ( Shitajiki =下敷 )".
This is used to prevent Sumi from adhering to the desk. Many of materials used for " Shitajiki " are felts.
A translucent wrapper is a keeping seat of " Shitajiki ".
Next, the thing at the left of Shitajiki is "Hudemaki ( Hudemaki= 筆巻き)".
I did not put its name in the photograph because there was no name of Britain of " Hudemaki". " Hudemaki" is used to keep the brush. The brush is rolled by "Hudemaki" and kept.
And, the left side is a "Calligraphy box ( Dougubako=道具箱 )".
The ink stick, the brush, the ink stone, the water bottle, and the paper weight are kept in this box.
